The new high precision SO3-NG TCXO based synthesizer unit for the Kenwood TS590S, TS590SG transceivers
This unit is based on the CRuni-NG project as replacement for the Kenwood SO-3 TCXO UNIT.

The SO3-NG is 100% compatible with the original Kenwood SO-3, with the same footprint and all soldering pads are in the same location as on the original unit, which permit a easy replacement of original Kenwood SO-3 unit. Furthermore there are a trimmer for the fine frequency adjustment to calibrate the unit.
The high quality TCXO from JAUCH QUARTZ providing a internal reference clock with a high degree of frequency stability over a wide temperature range, and a low noise voltage regulator for a very clean internal supply.
The board is delivered as full assembled, so is it quite easy for most people with soldering skills to install the unit in the transceiver.

- Output Frequency stability: ±0,21ppm (or ±0,04ppm with the ±0,05ppm extra high stability option)

- Operating Temperature Range: -20 to 70°C
- Frequency fine adjustment range: 90Hz (±5ppm) (or with extra high stability option: 100Hz)
- Power supply requirements: 4 to 15 VDC, max. 60mA

Each SO3-NG is shipped as calibrated in our lab with a Rubidium frequency standard.
