This DC-DC unit is a aftermarked replacement for the Kenwood P/N X59-1100-00 (mounted on the top of the RF UNIT P/N X44-3120-00), which is no longer available as original spare part.
(A common ALC fault in the Kenwood's X59-1100-00 DC-DC converter board causes TX output power to cycle up and down in regular cycles due to alc voltage variation).
This DC-DC unit is 100% compatible with the original Kenwood P/N X59-1100-00, with a high quality 11-pin header and socket, which permit a easy installation and replacement of the DC-DC unit.
The board is delivered as full assembled with the 11 pin header and socket, ready for soldering on the RF UNIT.
