The new high precision SO1-NG TCXO replacement for the Kenwood TS930, TS940 and TS950S transceivers

This board is a aftermarked replacement for the Kenwood SO-1 TCXO UNIT, which is no longer available as original spare part.

The SO1-NG is 100% compatible with the original Kenwood SO-1, with the same dimensions and all soldering pads are in the same location as on the original unit, which permit a easy replacement of original Kenwood SO-1 unit. Furthermore there are a trimmer for the fine frequency adjustment in the right position (one dedicated to TS930 and another to the TS940/TS950S) to calibrate the unit with a screwdriver from the side hole, without removing the chassis cover of the transceiver.
The high quality TCXO from JAUCH QUARTZ providing a high degree of frequency stability over a wide temperature range, and a low noise voltage regulator a very clean supply.
The board is delivered as full assembled, so is it quite easy for most people with soldering skills to install the unit in the transceiver.

- Output frequency: 20MHz
- Frequency stability: ±0,28ppm (or with extra high stability option: ±0,05ppm)
- Operating Temperature Range: -20 to 70°C
- Frequency tuning range: 90Hz
- Power supply requirements: 4,5 to 28 VDC, max. 3mA (or with extra high stability option: 4,5 to 12 VDC, max. 49mA)

Each TCXO SO1-NG is shipped as calibrated in our lab with a Rubidium frequency standard.
