Ultralow noise PLL loop amplifier replacement for the Kenwood TS940 transceiver

This ultra low noise PLL loop amplifier is a aftermarked replacement for the original IC18 (BA718) mounted on the PLL UNIT, using a couple of ultralow noise, ultralow distortion ADA4898 from Analog Devices and an active supply noise reduction circuit.
The PLL phase noise of the TS940 can be substantially reduced by replacing IC18 by this board.


This amplifier board is 100% compatible with the original IC18 (BA718), with a high quality 9-pin header, which permit a easy soldering of this unit.

The board is delivered as full assembled with the 9 pin header, ready to replace the IC18 and for soldering on the PLL UNIT.
